This is the playground at the southern end of Blanton Avenue, next to the Dogwood Dell Amphitheater, Ha'Penny Stage and Barker Field Dog Park, inside the larger 287-acre Byrd Park. Dogwood Dell hosts the city's free Festival of the Arts through the summer, so this corner of the park can be busy on show nights; the page gives an event line, (804)646-DELL, but not a schedule.
